HARRY POTTER MATCHMAKER THEME

Name: Lauren
Age: 19
Previous Stamps:  My Fair Lady [Movie]
Hercules and Meg [Disney Royalty]
Eric Clapton and Alice Liddell [Muse]
Andrew and Watts [80s Rom-Com Characters]
Athena [Greek God Parent]

And many more, these are simply the best fitting in my opinion.

Male, Female, or best-fit stamp?: Male, please.

Name: Lauren
Are you over 13?: 19
Personality: Ipersonic:
♥ Analytical Thinkers:
-Reserved, quiet persons.
-Like to get to the bottom of things
-Modest persons with sharp intellect, quickly and comprehensively grasp patterns, principles and structures.
-Analytical Thinkers like to work alone; their ability to concentrate is more marked than that of all other personality types.
-Analytical Thinkers have little interest in everyday concerns - home and workplace are chaotic, only concerns himself with banalities such as bodily needs when it becomes absolutely unavoidable.
-The acknowledgement of their work by others does not play a great role for them; in general, they are quite independent of social relationships and very self-reliant.
-Analytical Thinkers therefore often give others the impression that they are arrogant or snobby - especially because they do not hesitate to speak their mind with their often harsh (even if justified) criticism and their imperturbable self-confidence. Incompetent contemporaries do not have it easy with them.
-Whoever succeeds in winning their respect and interest has a witty and very intelligent person to talk to. A partner who amazes one with his excellent powers of observation and his very dry humour.

Adjectives:
Introverted, theoretical, logical, spontaneous, rational, analytical, intellectual, sceptical, pensive, critical, quiet, precise, independent, creative, inventive, abstract, eccentric, curious, reserved, self-involved, imaginative, determined, modest, careful, incommunicative, witty.

♥ Also, my Myers-Briggs personality:
-Idealists are incurable romantics who prefer to focus on what might be, rather than what is. The real, practical world is only a starting place for Idealists; they believe that life is filled with possibilities waiting to be realized, rich with meanings calling out to be understood. This idea of a mystical or spiritual dimension to life, the "not visible" or the "not yet" that can only be known through intuition or by a leap of faith, is far more important to Idealists than the world of material things.
Highly ethical in their actions, Idealists hold themselves to a strict standard of personal integrity. They must be true to themselves and to others, and they can be quite hard on themselves when they are dishonest, or when they are false or insincere. More often, however, Idealists are the very soul of kindness. Particularly in their personal relationships, Idealists are without question filled with love and good will. They believe in giving of themselves to help others; they cherish a few warm, sensitive friendships; they strive for a special rapport with their children; and in marriage they wish to find a "soulmate," someone with whom they can bond emotionally and spiritually, sharing their deepest feelings and their complex inner worlds.

Enegram Type Three:The Achiever:
-The "stars" of human nature,
-People often look up to them because of their graciousness and personal accomplishments.
-They are usually well regarded and popular among their peers, the type of person who is frequently voted “class president" or “home coming queen”
-Threes act as living “role models” and paragons because of their extraordinary embodiment of socially valued qualities.
-Threes will try to become somebody noteworthy in their family and their community. They will not be a “nobody.”
-They want success because they are afraid of disappearing into a chasm of emptiness and worthlessness: without the increased attention and feeling of accomplishment which success usually brings, Threes fear that they are nobody and have no value.
-The problem is that, in the headlong rush to achieve whatever they believe will make them more valuable, Threes can become so alienated from themselves that they no longer know what they truly want, or what their real feelings or interests are. In this state, they are easy prey to self–deception. From their earliest years, as Threes become dependent on receiving attention from others and in pursuing the values that others reward, they gradually lose touch with themselves. Step by step, their own inner core, their “heart’s desire,” is left behind until they no longer recognize it.
-Thus, while they are the primary type in the Feeling Center, Threes, interestingly, are not known as “feeling” people; rather, they are people of action and achievement. It is as if they “put their feelings in a box” so that they can get ahead with what they want to achieve. Threes have come to believe that emotions get in the way of their performance, so they substitute thinking and practical action for feelings.
-Threes report that when they realize to what extent they have adapted their lives to the expectations of others, the question arises, “Well, then, what do I want?” They often simply did not know; it was not a question that had ever come up before. Thus, the fundamental dilemma of Threes is that they have not been allowed to be who they really are and to manifest their own authentic qualities. At a young age, they got the message that they were not allowed to have feelings and be themselves: they must, in effect, be someone else to be accepted. To some degree, all of the personality types have been sent the same message, but because of their particular background and makeup, Threes not only heard it, they began to live by it. The attention they received by performing in a certain way was their oxygen, and they needed it to breathe. Unfortunately, it came at a high price.

And since it's the Harry Potter theme, I figured I'd put my "patronus personality" as well.

022. THE PHOENIX

The phoenix is a difficult patronus to come by, and if you do happen to have it, it signifies a very strong heart. These people have been through a lot in their life, and have risen from the ashes of it and become driven, daring, and a bit stubborn. They will not let anything bring them down, because they’ve been there before and never want to go back to that place. They have fire-like emotions, and can therefore be a bit tense at times. They are natural therapists, wanting to help others get out of tought places to allow them to rise as well. The most common house for a phoenix patronus is Gryffindor. The most common signs are Leo and Taurus.

Do you prefer younger, older, or the same age as you? Older or the same age. I wouldn't mind a bit younger than me, but of course, not a pedophile level |DDD I prefer people who are mature, to be honest.

Describe your ideal match physically I really don't have a physical type. I'd like them to be somewhat good-looking. I make the effort so they should too, but obviouisly if they're the most beautiful person internally, I really don't care. I don't put so much stock in how people look really, as long as their personalities are brilliant.

Describe your ideal match's personality  What the relationship looks like...

ENTJs are usually happy with any relationship that can offer them growth and intellectual stimulation and the INTJ has a lot to offer in that respect. These types are often interested in the same things, have similar life philosophies and similar thinking patterns. This can make for hours of interesting conversations and debates and a feeling of mutual understanding.

It takes both these types quite some time to open up and many people are written off by them as not worthy of emotional attachment, so when they finally find someone who understands them on a deeper level it can be really intense and passionate.

What each type gets from the relationship...

- lots of stimulating conversations and idea exploring
- learning new things and sharing knowledge
- ENTJs learn to be more patient and reflective
- INTJs learn to act more and think less (yes, too much thinking/analyzing can be bad)
- a reliable partner in life who you can trust
- a low maintenance relationship with no emotional neediness or unnecessary drama

- a peaceful, structured and organized life which is important to both these types

INTJs live much of their lives inside their own heads. They constantly scan their environment for new ideas and theories which they can turn into plans and structures. Sometimes, what they see and understand intuitively within themselves is more pure and "perfect" than the reality of a close personal relationship. INTJs may have a problem reconciling their reality with their fantasy.

INTJs are not naturally in tune with their own feelings, or with what other people are feeling. They also have a tendency to believe that they are always right. While their self-confidence and esteem is attractive, their lack of sensitivity to others can be a problem if it causes them to inadvertantly hurt their partner's feelings. If this is a problem for an INTJ, they should remember to sometimes let their mate be the one who is right, and to try to be aware of the emotional effect that your words have upon them.

Words to describe him or her overall Intense, intelligent, focused, diligent, laid-back, funny, playful, charming, serious when it counts, caring, protective.

Which do you want- short term, long term, or full term (marriage)? Short term, long term, full term, intense either away.

Describe how your first date would be? Something different, something where we'd either be active or talking, something to make it exciting but also at the time enough of a laid-back time so that we can just head home at the end of the night as well. I either need something which pulls me out of my shell or that's comforting IN my shell, nothing in between.

If you married, what would your wedding be like? Intimate, whether it's large or small. I'd prefer small and intimate though.

Anything else you would like to add? I'd like to ask for someone other than Sirius Black or any of the Marauders. I usually get voted them as matchmakers, and as much as I love them, I feel that it's close to sheeping whenever I get voted them. So I'd really appreciate if everyone could think OUTSIDE of the box. I also really don't see myself with Cedric Diggory or Harry/Ron either, sorry |D -so specific- They're just more of someone I think I'd be friends with rather than a match. Maybe Cedric, but I think I'd need someone who'd challenge me more than anything to be a better person.

Also, an explanation would be fantastic <3

Post a few pictures of your Wizard self:

Post a few pictures of actors, actresses you may like (Attempt to keep away from Harry Potter actors):

The entire cast of Merlin is entirely flawless.

I'm telling you, I have a thing where I can't like people, no matter how good-looking they are. The following guys I like are mostly because they're amazing personality-wise, from what I've seen.

Tom Hiddleston: A Classics major with a love of literature and the most adorable personality in the world, I love him completely and utterly XD

Hugh Jackman. He seems like a really lovely guy, talented, laid-back and grounded.

Chris Pine. Another lit major, from what I've seen, a pretty class act.

When he's being himself, he's laid-back, able to take a joke about himself, and quiet.

Jean Dujardin. So funny, so grounded, so classy, and a total goofball/sweetheart. <3333333

Uhm.. I considered a lot of different characters for you, and I was very tempted to say Cedric because I think that Cedric can be described as a mix of INTJ and ENTJ, and especially in the books he was very playful and friendly but he's still mature, patient, and he's definitely a reliable partner and someone you can surely trust (he's an Hufflepuff afterall!). But since you don't want to be matched with him I guess I'm leaning a bit more towards Bill Weasley with a bit of Fred and George as well. I think that Bill can be funny and playful, but he's still intelligent, caring and protective and for what I remember he was described as very charming and laid-back in the books so I guess this also fits your answers.

I can see where the Bill Weasley vote is coming from, but my first impression was actually Oliver Wood. He is good-looking ( well,I think Sean Biggerstaff is good looking but I don't rember if he was described as "good-looking" in the books ) but also has an interesting and strong personality. I think Oliver Wood is intelligent, focused, laid-back, can be funny at times, is playful, charming, caring and can be serious when the situation calls for it.

I think you and Oliver Wood would be a wonderful pair. ♥

The fact that you are an INTJ and your match is an ENTJ seems quite fitting. You'd have common interests.

I can also see him as intense, intelligent, focused, diligent, charming, serious when it counts, caring, and protective.

"Hugh Jackman. He seems like a really lovely guy, talented, laid-back and grounded."

♥ !!!!!!!

I must say you and I think so much alike in that respect!!! I absolutely agree!!!

♥ Hugh's just such a beautiful grounded person, I love him <333 And yes, totally. People put far too much stock in appearances, and often the most beautiful people in life are the ones people underestimate or look over just because they might not be popular or look a certain way. Not to say all good-looking people are horrid (take Hugh as an example), but judging people on appearances is just all-around silly, to put it lightly. <3

Oliver Wood. Where do I even start? I mean he's a perfect match. He fits what you want, you'd have things in common, he's not anything that you dislike and I can see you two getting on really well and having great convos and enjoying Quidditch, AND you could introduce him to Muggle sports! :DD I could see Remus and Bill working too but I definitely think Oliver is a great match. Plus, he fits what you like physically!

(OMG YES FOR ALFRED HITCHCOCK APPRECIATION)
